Endodontist
Timothy Kim DMD, MS
Dr. Timothy Kim believes the most important aspect of treatment is patient comfort. Understanding that the majority of patients are not thrilled to be getting endodontic treatment enables him to comfort and provide relief as efficiently as possible.
Keeping the patient aware of treatment planning as well as treatment options leads to a visit that has the patient well informed.
Dr. Kim graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Mason University. Upon graduation, he followed his passion for photography and was a successful wedding and portrait photographer. Wanting to pursue his ultimate dream of being in dentistry, Dr. Kim finished an accelerated Master’s degree from George Mason University, then moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
After being inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society and graduating Magna Cum Laude from his dental training, Dr. Kim stayed at Tufts for his training in Endodontics. He is currently a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
When not in the office, Dr. Kim volunteers his time teaching in the department of Endodontics at Tufts University.
While in dental school, Dr. Kim pursued his love of outreach work, traveling to Jamaica multiple years in a row to provide free dental care. It was there his vision of volunteer work was solidified.
Dental Assistant
Emma
Emma has been a dental assistant with Apex since 2021. Since then she has enjoyed learning and developing her skills as a dental assistant. Emma is currently in school at University of Maine at Augusta completing her prerequisites to join the dental hygiene program there. Emma lives in Augusta with her husband, dog, and cat. In her spare time, you can find Emma skiing at Sugarloaf, hiking, or curled up with a good fantasy book.
Office Manager
Alina
Alina is a Lewiston/Auburn native and graduated from Edward Little High School. Alina has been in the dental field since 2018 and has been with Apex Endodontics since 2023. Outside of work, Alina enjoys spending time with her husband Nick and their cat named Sushi. Alina also enjoys painting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Dental Assistant
Alyssa
Alyssa has been a dental assistant since 2016 and has been with Dr. Kim since 2021. Alyssa is studying to extend her dental assisting education. Outside of work, Alyssa loves to cook, spend time with family and friends, and her cat.
